Teaching Approach
From my past experience, I have found that every student has a different way of learning, and whether it's one to one tutoring or learning in small groups, I tailor each class to the students’ needs.
Comments from students
"We have been having lessons with Margarita for just under a year. We have really enjoyed learning Spanish, she makes it very relaxing and you can go at your own pace, which is more convenient than a college course.
She always makes lessons fun and enjoyable, and is very happy to repeat anything that you are not sure about.
If you have considered learning Spanish for a hobby, pleasure, educational or professional reason, then margarita is the teacher for you".

I have since recommended three of my close friends to her, all who are at different levels and are doing extremely well and enjoying their learning. Muchas Gracias Margarita :) x"

Margarita's effectiveness as a teacher is borne out by the fact that I am now speaking Spanish for much of each hour. The lessons have a logical progression and I am gradually building an appreciation of the language's structure in addition to quickly extending my vocabulary."
I look forward to my weekly hour "a estudiar espanol."

"I have been having lessons with Margarita for several months. She is a very patient teacher, always encouraging and instantly puts you at ease. Her lessons are very flexile and can be tailor-made to suit your level of ability. I would not hesitate to recommend her".

“I love travelling and over the years have visited many different countries that speak Spanish. Each time I wished I could speak the language. so decided to do something about it and got in touch with Margarita through a recommendation. It is really great being taught by someone who is Spanish because not only are you learning the language 'first hand' but also the culture, customs and way of life, which all help to enhance the learning experience. Margarita is a great teacher; she is supportive, encouraging and always happy to explain things (over and over again, in my case!!).”

“I had some very limited Spanish, but wanted to learn more as my husband and I want to buy some property in Argentina so one of us needed to be able to communicate at a business level. I have had almost twenty lessons with Marga and I feel I've made massive progress in this time. Knowing my objective, Marga has been able to teach me South American grammar and pronunciation, which will help me with my long term goal.
Marga is extremely personable. Her lessons are fun and interesting and seem to pass so quickly! I look forward every week to my lesson and always come away feeling a sense of achievement. I hope to continue my lessons with Marga and would certainly recommend her as an excellent teacher.”
"My husband is now semi retired and having bought a property in Spain seven years ago, we both felt that we were missing such a lot through our inability to speak Spanish. While in Spain this summer I did a google search and found Marga, and what a find! Being new students we have only been twice but we have thoroughly enjoyed our lessons and eagerly anticipate our third! Marga makes learning which becomes harder as one gets older so much fun. Marga is very patient and my husband who freely admits to finding learning anything new particularly difficult, is loving his lessons and Marga's teaching methods are already having a huge impact. Muchos gracias Marga!"

“I have been having lessons for a few months now and learning grammar in the first few weeks was very helpful. But now Marga can tailor it to suit your needs which in my case revolves around questions and answers in eating and drinking out, travel, directions and speaking to tradesmen when neccesary is also a great help. As I guess we all know when visiting the costas it is so easy to just speak english but I'm hoping to overcome this and make more effort when out there.”

‘We have had a flat in Mallorca for about 4 years now and despite our best intentions, and the purchase of many different teach yourself books and CDs we realised we were making virtually no progress with our Spanish. Since we discovered Margarita we are filled with new enthusiasm. We’ve had quite a few lessons with her already on a 2:1 basis and from the first lesson felt we were making dramatic progress compared with our previous efforts. She immediately gave us phrases which were building blocks for conversation and related to real life. We are also now far more confident of our pronunciation. We meet once a week and find we are really motivated now to do our homework in the meantime so we feel we are making rapid progress. Margarita is a great teacher who relates to us and we feel has become a friend. She has endless patience and is very encouraging’.

‘Margarita has been teaching me and my son Spanish for the last 6 weeks. We are complete beginners, only knowing a couple of words on our usual holiday to Spain each summer! As well as having learnt a vast amount in that time, Margarita has made the lessons fun, tailored them to our requirements and to our pace and added her own fantastic personality as well. We are loving learning Spanish and I am just so lucky that I found her details when searching for a teacher on the internet!’
